Chad Hurley and Steve Chen were the founders of Youtube.com. Prior to starting Youtube, they were employees of paypal which was later sold to ebay. Youtube was later sold to Google in the year 2006.

You Tube has grown very big in recent years and it is catching up fast. An article in Alley Insider talks more it. In an interview with Forbes, Bobby Tulsiani, a JupiterResearch analyst says "A studio declining to do business with YouTube would be like a cereal maker not dealing with Wal-Mart".
